Job Description

TownTasks is seeking a Deputy Clerk to provide administrative support in the County Clerk department. The role involves clerical work, records management, and providing assistance to various parties.

Responsibilities

Answer telephone calls, redirect calls, and take messages. Draft correspondence and transmit information to county departments. Review and accept e-filings for official records. Provide services related to recording and filing of documents. Collect fees, fines, and court costs. Provide assistance and information to employees, managers, vendors, and citizens.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of two years of clerical/administrative support experience in civil or criminal fields, with at least one year in a County Clerk's Office. Ability to perform medium physical effort tasks.
