Job Description

The Finance Coordinator will assist in managing financial processes and controls related to general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll. This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently in a diverse college environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the College's General Ledger and reconciliations
  • Support external audit process and financial statement preparation
  • Supervise cash receipts and revenue reconciliation
  • Manage investment accounting and financial statements preparation
  • Oversee accounting process for food service provider
  • Prepare and maintain departmental procedures
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • BA or BS in a Business-related field required
  • Master's degree or CPA a plus
  • Experience with not-for-profit organizations preferred
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience required
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of finance/accounting procedures
  • Proficiency in Access, ADP, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Cash Management Systems
