Job Description

TownTasks is looking for a Plant Manager to lead plant operations in Fort Mill, SC. The ideal candidate will oversee extrusion processes, maintenance, quality, and shipping/receiving.

Responsibilities

Implement cost-effective control systems
Manage capital asset maintenance
Monitor plant performance
Control labor costs
Maintain plant facilities and equipment
Provide leadership and training
Ensure safety and health compliance
Incorporate shop floor organization
Provide direction to plant leaders
Maintain KPI visual reporting
Create and modify standardized work
Manage hiring and performance

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge of budgets and financial statements
Experience with manufacturing methods and process improvement
Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience
Excellent communication skills
Computer proficiency
Proven leadership experience
Ability to work in a team or individual setting
Experience managing in a matrixed organization
