Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient evaluations to diagnose gastrointestinal disorders.
Perform endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies and upper GI endoscopies.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
Collaborate with other specialists to provide holistic care.
Manage acute pain related to gastrointestinal conditions effectively.
Utilize electronic health record systems for accurate documentation.
Provide health coaching to patients regarding lifestyle modifications.
Stay current with advancements in gastroenterology practices.

Qualifications

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Board certification in Gastroenterology.
Strong clinical skills in acute pain management preferred.
Proficiency in airway management techniques is a plus.
Experience in emergency room settings is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
