Job Description

The IRF Pilot Specialist will oversee pilot parts management for all export affiliates parts, ensuring correct ordering, shipping, and quantities to customers. This role requires managing multiple issues and adapting to changing business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage pilot and pre-production builds for affiliate builds
  • Cross functional communication between NA engineering, program managers, affiliate, buyers, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials to ECC
  • Manage weekly calls with IRF plants on pilot requirements
  • Communicate with suppliers on inbound materials needed for pilot build
  • Manage ocean and air transport of materials flowing through IRF ECC to minimize cost and support on time delivery
  • Pilot list brush up, to ensure materials requirements are streamlined through NA systems prior to production (bulk) orders i.e. (missing PO, approved CN, SHP LOC)
  • Create weekly pilot list for awareness of critical issues
  • Assist with coordinating shipments and shipping routes to deliver parts
  • Ensure steady part flow to avoid production delays

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of operations experience with Stellantis, OEM or Tier 1
  • Cross-functional experience in supply chain management disciplines
  • Prior experience interacting with multi-disciplinary and operational teams
  • Extremely organized, good planner, independent, and detail oriented
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams as well as ability to lead teams and 3PL
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to multitask within tight deadlines
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Google Suite skills
  • Familiarity with Stellantis systems (change management, capacity, logistics, international packaging, purchasing)
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in global multi-cultural environments
  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or an MBA
  • Plant or Warehouse Management Experience
  • Logistics operations and/or network design experience
  • Demonstrated Customer Relationship and people management skills
  • Strong Data Analytics skills
  • Experience with Releases, CHIERS, EBOM, CHAMPS, Cosmic, CMIS, AETC's, CSDS
  • Prior Automotive / Production Control experience beneficial, not required
