Job Description

Marathon Health is seeking a Referral Coordinator to facilitate patient referrals for our Value Driven Referrals service. The Coordinator will act as a liaison between patients and specialist offices to ensure patient preferences are met in care coordination.

Responsibilities

Act as a subject matter expert for all referral order types
Interview patients to obtain preferences and necessary medical information
Advocate for patients and assist in problem-solving
Facilitate scheduling of specialist appointments and communicate details
Understand employer benefit packages and insurance plans
Provide exceptional customer service and document relevant information

Qualifications

High School Diploma and 2+ years of experience in a medical office or clinical navigator role
Knowledge of insurance plans and medical terminology
Experience working remotely preferred
Strong computer literacy and communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
