Job Description

Flagship Charter Academy is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker for the upcoming school year. Join our team and make a difference in the lives of K-8 students.

Responsibilities

Provide counseling sessions to special education and general education students
Monitor student progress and responses to interventions
Develop behavior intervention plans
Complete assessments and referrals for students
Establish relationships with students, parents, and community resources
Provide staff consultation and crisis intervention services
Maintain clinical records and adhere to program standards

Qualifications

Master's degree in social work
Valid social work license
State approval as a school social worker (Michigan)
Knowledge of special education processes
Experience with at-risk students preferred
