Job Description

Seeking an individual experienced in the maintenance and repair of warehouse Mechanical Handling Equipment. Flexible schedule with full-time and part-time hours available.

Responsibilities

  • Reassemble machines after repair or maintenance work
  • Start machines and observe operation for efficiency and problems
  • Inspect damaged machine parts and mark defective areas
  • Lubricate or apply materials to machines according to procedures
  • Install, replace, or change machine parts as per specifications
  • Dismantle machines for repair using tools
  • Record production and maintenance information
  • Read work orders to determine repair needs
  • Collaborate with other workers for repairs or movements
  • Inventory and requisition machine parts and supplies
  • Transport machine parts between work areas
  • Collect and discard worn machine parts
  • Clean machines and machine parts

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Maintenance Mechanic or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience
  • Strong organization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to solve mechanical problems
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Mechanical/conveyor knowledge
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 51 pounds
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
