Job Description

Overall accountability and responsibility for Facilities and Material Handling Equipment Operations of a highly automated medical surgical distribution center.

Responsibilities

  • Management, development, and training of maintenance/janitorial teams.
  • Facility equipment audits and record retention policies.
  • Oversight of safety and security protocols.
  • Maintenance and support of security systems.
  • Management of building cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Oversight and management of facilities projects.
  • Engagement with risk management insurance and property management companies.
  • Development, oversight and accountability for yearly MRO supply budget.
  • Contractor engagement and management of all contracts for facility services.
  • Maintenance of equipment and safety programs.
  • Work closely with operational leadership to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional experience and 0-2 years of supervisory experience.
  • 4+ years of experience as a facilities manager/supervisor preferred.
  • Detailed working/troubleshooting knowledge of PLC logic and warehouse control systems.
  • Proven ability to read and comprehend complex electrical, mechanical and automation system prints.
  • Working knowledge of all trade categories including Electrical, Mechanical, Temperature controls systems and HVAC.
  • Aptitude for organization and negotiation with vendors.
  • Working knowledge of PC software such as Microsoft Office Suite, CMMS, and Warehouse Control Systems.
