Job Description

McKesson is seeking a Facilities Technician Manager to oversee operations at a highly automated medical surgical distribution center in Tolleson, AZ. The role involves managing maintenance/janitorial teams, ensuring equipment is operational, overseeing safety protocols, managing facility projects, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Management, development, and training of maintenance/janitorial teams
  • Facility equipment audits and record retention
  • Oversight of safety and security protocols
  • Maintenance of security systems
  • Management of building cleanliness and maintenance
  • Engagement with risk management insurance and property management companies
  • Development and accountability for yearly MRO supply budget
  • Contractor engagement and oversight
  • Management and maintenance of equipment

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional experience
  • 4+ years of experience as a facilities manager/supervisor
  • Detailed knowledge of PLC logic and warehouse control systems
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex electrical, mechanical, and automation system prints
  • Working knowledge of trade categories, including Electrical, Mechanical, and HVAC
  • Proficiency in negotiation and vendor management
  • Knowledge of PC software such as Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS
  • Flexibility with hours and on-call availability
