Job Description

Join our team at Vinfen Behavioral Health Community Services as a Peer Specialist to provide support and mentorship to clients on their recovery journey from mental health disorders. Assist clients in developing recovery strategies and connecting to resources.

Responsibilities

Provide peer counseling and support to clients
Assess readiness for change and develop engagement strategies
Assist clients in navigating healthcare and social support systems
Advocate and liaise with other agencies
Monitor and report client progress

Qualifications

Lived experience with mental health disorders
Ability to provide support and mentorship
Knowledge of recovery strategies and community resources
