Job Description

Sika is seeking a Twisting Operator to join the team in the Chattanooga facility for the Fibers business unit. The role involves operating and maintaining twisting lines following safety protocols and standards.

Responsibilities

Perform job duties in a safe manner
Communicate effectively with team members
Maintain visual check of twisting lines
Start/shut down twisting lines as needed
Identify yarn packages correctly
Perform minor maintenance tasks
Assist in identifying processing issues
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High School Graduate or GED required
Working knowledge of SAP preferred
Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
Ability to lift 30 pounds frequently
Must be able to sit, stand, reach, and move around facility
