Job Description

The Retail Warehouse Receiving Lead is responsible for the execution and organization of all retail inventory product receiving and distributing. This role is also responsible for accurate inventory practices needed to bring in merchandise and transfer merchandise to the various intended property. This role involves regular communication with the buying team and the shop management team to ensure a timely flow of merchandise.

Responsibilities

Train new team members on receiving practices and standards
Ensure accurate receiving of merchandise by cross-referencing invoices with purchase orders
Assist Supervisor in monthly inventory counts
Communicate with buying team on any cost discrepancies
Maintain restock sheets and communicate with the buying team on order replenishment

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years experience in a shipping environment
Retail shipping experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
