Job Description

As an Assistant Branch Manager at Community First Credit Union, you will be responsible for interacting with members to meet their financial needs, providing loan interviews, opening and servicing deposit accounts, customizing protection solutions, achieving branch goals, and cross-selling credit union products.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with members to uncover financial needs and provide appropriate solutions
  • Perform loan interviews, close loans, and complete necessary documentation
  • Open and service deposit accounts for members
  • Customize protection solutions for lending products
  • Achieve individual and overall branch goals
  • Assist with service requests and address member questions or concerns
  • Manage deposit and loan portfolio through follow-up
  • Cross-sell credit union products and services
  • Assist in cash handling/teller functions
  • Develop new business through member involvement and community outreach
  • Learn administrative details of managing a branch
  • Perform branch functions as assigned in absence of the branch manager

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in banking, business, management, or related field
  • 2+ years of banking, member service, and/or sales experience
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills
  • Advanced ability to multi-task, prioritize, stay organized, and follow up
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and financial services platforms
  • Passion for providing outstanding service to members
