Job Description

The Regional HR Generalist will support HR operations for three business units within Sandvik's portfolio in the Americas region. This role involves managing employee relations, performance management, compliance with local labor laws, HR policy implementation, and recruitment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the HR point of contact for employees and managers across multiple countries
  • Maintain compliance with local labor laws
  • Manage the performance review process
  • Facilitate training programs and workshops
  • Maintain accurate employee records and provide reporting on key HR metrics
  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for regional roles
  • Assist with job evaluations and provide relevant salary benchmarks
  • Lead or support various global and regional HR initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in HR generalist roles with multi-country responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven problem-solving skills and conflict resolution abilities
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
