Job Description

Fred Smith Company is seeking an experienced Grade Foreman to join our Eastern Division in Wayne County. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy civil construction.

Responsibilities

Responsible for managing crew and equipment on assigned projects
Maintain logs, reports, and time records accurately
Ensure compliance with safety policies
Conduct meetings and Toolbox Talks
Direct crews and manage project quality, productivity, and costs
Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Foreman in heavy civil construction
Experience with grading, site work, water/sewer/storm drain construction, asphalt paving
Knowledge of crew and equipment scheduling
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Legally authorized to work in the USA
