Job Description

The Assistant Facility Administrator is responsible for overseeing security and control operational procedures at the facility, ensuring the safety and security of staff and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Direct security department functions and supervise security personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures.
  • Prepare departmental reports.
  • Monitor staff effectiveness and conduct facility inspections.
  • Assist in emergency response and long-range planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in correctional/detention facility management.
  • Knowledge of program objectives, correctional laws, and procedures.
  • Ability to command respect and confidence of inmates and staff.
