Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts, including cherry pickers and pallet jacks, to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Utilize an RF scanner and warehouse management system to track inventory and manage stock levels.
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring that materials are handled safely and efficiently.
  • Perform routine inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and maintain organization within the storage areas.
  • Participate in inventory counts and assist with materials handling as needed.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in operating forklifts, including order pickers and cranes.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory.
  • Experience with RF scanners for efficient materials handling.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols related to forklift operation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required.
