Job Description

Join our team at VA Central Iowa Health Care System as a Police Officer. Perform a full range of police duties to ensure the safety and security of the local jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

Protect civil rights of individuals on VA property
Prevent, detect, and investigate crimes
Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle
Subdue individuals causing disturbances
Prepare reports of activities and events

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship required
Completion of Police Science degree or equivalent
Pass a background check and drug test
