Job Description

Hudson Guild is seeking a dedicated Workforce Development Specialist to support a newly launched program aimed at providing training and employment opportunities to participants.

Responsibilities

  • Develop outreach initiatives to recruit program participants
  • Identify and build relationships with organizations for employment opportunities
  • Provide case management services and workshops on job readiness
  • Participate in networking events and community outreach
  • Ensure program compliance with policies and procedures
  • Engage in professional development and data analysis processes
  • Assist in community building activities

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Work or Human Resources; minimum of 3 years of workforce development experience; strong organizational and communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience serving young adults, knowledge of NYCHA community, office technology proficiency, bilingual in Spanish/English.
