Job Description

Mayer Brown is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to manage a portfolio of Firm partners, ensuring timely recovery of outstanding payments from clients.

Responsibilities

Implements effective collection strategies for timely payments
Fosters positive relationships with partners, clients, and stakeholders
Provides reports, analyses, and recommendations to partners
Serves as a point of contact for client inquiries and disputes
Collaborates with billing and administrative teams
Utilizes financial systems for tracking collections and generating reports
Ensures compliance with policies and legal requirements
Identifies process improvements and efficiencies
Reconciles accounts and resolves discrepancies
Meets collection targets and assists with special projects

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field preferred
Minimum five years of professional experience required
Two years collections experience strongly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products required
Experience with collections software preferred
