Job Description

We are seeking a Production Team Leader to join our MDF Plant Management Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing shift personnel, ensuring safety requirements are met, and meeting production and quality metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a member of the MDF Plant Management Team.
  • Promote and enforce company safety requirements.
  • Selection and development of skilled personnel.
  • Management and daily direction of shift personnel.
  • Conduct annual performance appraisals.
  • Monitor shift performance in all plant operational areas.
  • Manage control room environment and professional conduct of shift team members.
  • Meet production and quality metrics.
  • Other assignments at the discretion of the MDF Plant Manager.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years plant operations supervisory experience or 3 years plant experience as an operator in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college (or equivalent work experience).
  • Practical experience and knowledge of SAP.
  • Strong leadership and social skills.
