Job Description

Responsible for developing strong relationships with partner agencies to provide support in creating and implementing agency training programs, evaluating agency activities, and ensuring compliance with all federal and state programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provides partner agencies with on-going support to increase efficiency, maximize Food Bank membership, and advocate for clients. Assists with the development and implementation of agency training programs to enhance agencies' ability to provide quality service.
  • Conducts on-going assessments of the needs and concerns of partner agencies.
  • Monitors partner agencies to ensure compliance with Food Bank, Feeding America and government policies and regulations. Assists in nutrition assessments to ensure agencies' compliance with the Hunger Prevention Nutrition Assistance Program requirements.
  • Conducts effective and timely follow-up with partner agencies to address concerns and infractions following site visits.
  • Works with Director of Agency Services to assess agency needs, expand services, and provide quality services to partner agencies.
  • Assists in the development of Food Bank membership policies and ensures adherence by partner agencies.
  • Conducts regular in-person trainings and virtual webinars for agencies. Assists agencies with software questions and troubleshooting.
  • Regularly updates Food Bank websites including the 'Find Food' feature of the website.
  • Maintains a clean and safe workspace.
  • Follows all safety standards and procedures.
  • Works independently, and collaboratively with other departments and employees in support of the mission of the Food Bank.
  • Adheres to the Food Bank's Employee Code of Conduct.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Associate's degree and two years of related work experience.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and online platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal, public speaking, writing and organizational skills.
  • Must have a valid New York State driver's license and at least one year of verifiable driving experience.
  • Reimbursable local and regional travel required ten to fifteen days per month.
