Job Description

Provide clerical office support to office staff by performing diverse duties such as word processing, typing, filing, and preparing department expenditure documents. Check and guide work of lower-level office personnel. Perform various office duties including preparing financial/expenditure documents, ordering supplies, and maintaining departmental files.

Responsibilities

- Prepare financial/expenditure documents for the department

- Maintain financial/expenditure files

- Order supplies and maintain inventory

- Type forms and correspondence

- Sort and distribute incoming mail

- Assist in calculating balances of departmental budget accounts

- Operate fax machine and copier

- Input data into a centralized computer terminal

- Maintain departmental files

Qualifications

Requires basic knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and simple mathematical functions. High school diploma or GED. Minimum of one year of directly related experience.
