Job Description

USA Pesticide Registration is a fully remote consultancy specializing in EPA FIFRA pesticide registrations and state-level pesticide registrations. Seeking a Senior Federal Pesticide Registration Specialist with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Federal pesticide registration under EPA FIFRA regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and submission of new EPA pesticide registration packages and amendments, including formulation and label changes.
  • Collaborate with project team to identify and initiate necessary product chemistry, toxicology, and other studies to support registration.
  • Work with internal teams to evaluate ingredient permissibility for new and amended pesticide product formulations.
  • Prepare, revise, and update product labels, incorporating EPA-required risk mitigation language as necessary.
  • Identify potential data support or compensation issues related to new uses or ingredients.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and evaluate the regulatory landscape as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Federal pesticide registration under EPA FIFRA regulations.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Agronomy, or a related scientific field.
  • Proven experience with EPA Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP), focusing on conventional chemical and biopesticide registrations.
  • Familiarity with EPA, FIFRA, 40 CFR, and Product Registration Notices.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and remote collaboration tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, maintain attention to detail, and work under pressure.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently or as part of a remote team.
  • Previous experience with EPA, related industry associations, or state departments of agriculture is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Federal labeling guidelines is a plus.
  • Bilingual skills are desirable but not required.
