Job Description

Seeking an experienced Mechanical Quality Control Inspector to support the Project Manager at a construction site in Clarksville, TN. The role involves assisting in client and subcontractor meetings, managing local permitting processes, and ensuring compliance with construction regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager with daily operations at the construction site.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Support the PM in problem resolution when unexpected issues arise on-site.
  • Track project progress, document updates, and maintain communication between stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between the PM, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients and subcontractors.
  • Provide regular updates to all stakeholders to ensure project alignment and prevent delays.
  • Handle local permits and licensing required for the project.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and OSHA construction regulations.
  • Support job site purchasing and maintain records of contracts, purchase orders, and project-related documents.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in construction site coordination or project support.
  • Background in construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
  • Familiarity with local permitting processes and compliance standards is a plus.
  • Positive attitude, analytical skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
