Job Description

CERTEX USA is seeking an experienced Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative to join their team in New York City.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information promptly
  • Determine customer requirements and recommend specific products and solutions
  • Present price, credit, and terms following company procedures
  • Accurately process customer transactions, orders, quotes, and returns
  • Educate customers on product features and benefits
  • Develop relationships with customers to encourage loyalty
  • Manage shipping, receiving, and inventory processes
  • Ensure ongoing customer satisfaction post-sales
  • Fill requests for catalogs, information, or samples
  • Present a professional image to customers and vendors

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Associate degree preferred
  • 2 years of customer service experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of successful selling experience
  • PC proficiency
