Job Description

The Senior Coordinator position is an outstanding opportunity to serve as an administrative liaison to the Academy Museum Board of Trustees. Responsible for organizing and implementing support functions related to the Board of Trustees and trustee cultivation.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate logistics, reporting, correspondence, technology, and additional support for meetings, orientations, and retreats of the Academy Museum Board of Trustees and its committees.
  • Assist in setting up the annual board and committee meeting schedule and maintain a calendar of all board-related activities.
  • Prepare agendas, create presentations and documents, attend meetings, produce meeting minutes, track attendance, and outline action items.
  • Maintain historic records of all board and committee proceedings, board documents, and files, including bylaws, systems for sharing and referencing documents, CRMs, and necessary correspondence.
  • Engage and assist in positive and effective communication strategies with staff, trustees, additional stakeholders, and their assistants.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional administrative experience, preferably having supported a nonprofit board.
  • Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to respond quickly and sensitively to questions and concerns.
