Job Description

The Vanderbilt YMCA is seeking a Site Director who will be responsible for ensuring that the Y Afterschool program meets all standards, expectations, and regulations. They will provide leadership for the strategy, systems, supervision, and structure of the programs.

Responsibilities

Recruit, interview, hire, train, and supervise staff according to YMCA policies and best practices.
Manage administrative issues such as data entry, human resources, reports, snacks, space, security, and all other administrative duties/documentation.
Ensure adequate supplies and equipment for the program.
Promote literacy, multiculturalism, parent/guardian, and community involvement.
Manage site budgets, revenue, and expenses.
Maintain accurate records pertaining to licensing requirements and staff/child health and safety.
Evaluate and document staff performance informally and formally.
Serve as a liaison to the school personnel and develop community relations.
Facilitate and supervise the collection of data for evaluation purposes.
Attend meetings, training, and supervise summer components.
Adhere to all standards, expectations, and regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience.
Experience working with youth in school-age programs.
Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Current CPR/First Aid/RTE certifications preferred.
Availability to work Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
