Job Description

Williams Distributing Co. & Shoemaker Inc. Divisions of Daikin Comfort Technologies North America, Inc. are seeking a Warehouse Driver-Backup to join their team. This role involves dual warehouse and delivery responsibilities for HVAC equipment and residential building products.

Responsibilities

Pick and pull orders from inventory
Inspect staged products to ensure accuracy
Load and unload shipments
Maintain a clean and safe environment
Deliver products to homes and businesses
Follow scheduled routes and operate a 25 ft. box truck
Prepare and maintain delivery logs
Adhere to DOT regulations and safety standards
Perform additional tasks as required

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of warehouse or delivery experience
Valid driver?s license and/or current chauffeur driver?s license
Medical Examiner?s Certification (as required by DOT)
Ability to exert up to 75lbs of force when moving heavy products
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous training on operating forklifts and delivery trucks preferred
