Job Description

TownTasks is seeking a Full-time After School Program Director for our Afterschool Program at Storefront Academy in Bronx, NY. The Program Director will lead and operate a comprehensive after-school program for children from the end of the school day to 6pm daily.

Responsibilities

Manages all aspects of the elementary school after-school program
Develops and maintains relationships with school staff and parents
Develops age and grade-appropriate curriculum
Recruits, hires, trains, and manages after-school staff
Manages program space, staff schedules, and expenses
Compiles data and tracks students for program evaluation
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Management, or related field
2 years of experience working with youth, managing a youth program, and supervising staff
Strong interpersonal, team development, and program management skills
Expertise in Fine Arts, Music, Theater, or Sports
Clearance from OCFS and DOE, CPR/First Aid certification
