Job Description

Join Invictus Capital Partners as a Summer Analyst in the Repo Desk for a hands-on internship program focusing on mortgage acquisition process and warehouse financing of whole loan assets.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit daily funding packages using SQL and Excel for financing counterparties, custodians, and the accounting team.
  • Coordinate with custodians to issue trust receipts to warehouse lenders.
  • Maintain and update systems with settled loan acquisition data to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Generate and submit monthly loan performance and servicing reports; provide variance explanations as needed.
  • Reconcile warehouse cash activities and fees with the accounting team.
  • Support process improvements and collaborate on special projects with senior team members.

Qualifications

  • Current undergraduate student, ideally a sophomore or junior, pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • Proficient in Excel; knowledge of SQL is a strong plus.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work on-site at the Washington, DC office.
