Job Description

Seeking a candidate to assist in bringing healthy and nutritious food options to our soup kitchen and food pantry customers. Will handle safe transport and storage of donated food.

Responsibilities

  • Pick up and distribute donated food and non-food supplies, weigh and record items.
  • Assist in all areas of food programs including delivering food to customers and receiving food deliveries.
  • Perform other duties as delegated by the Food Programs Manager.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Clean, valid NY State Driver's License.
  • Ability to lift, cart, transport, and move boxes of food and equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Interpersonal skills for customer service and maintaining relationships.
