Job Description

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is seeking a full-time Accountant to join the Mont Belvieu Accounting department. The role involves assisting with monthly closing duties, variance analysis reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and other assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the month end closing process
  • Prepare and record journal entries for G&A Expenses
  • Prepare and present detailed cost reports to management
  • Provide weekly variance reports
  • Prepare detailed monthly variance analyses in preparation for profit reviews
  • Track, accrue, and forecast expense projects
  • Assist in the preparation and input of annual budgets
  • Work with both internal and external auditors
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 0-2 years applicable experience
  • Must be detail oriented and have excellent organization and time management skills
  • Ability to analyze and make judgments as to the accuracy of accounting data
  • Experience and/or knowledge in Oracle is desired
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must have experience in data analysis
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt and manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing dynamic environment
