Job Description

The Immigration Intern at The International Rescue Committee (IRC) will assist with immigration services, client documentation, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

Review client immigration documents and assist with consultation requirements
Answer client questions and refer to appropriate staff
Provide general administrative support
Assist in updating client information in database
Help with document translation, authentication, and completion
Promote IRC's immigration department through networks
Research immigration issues and programs
Build partnerships with local agencies

Qualifications

College student in related field or refugee law
Passion for working with refugees
Interest or experience in U.S Immigration law
Excellent research and language skills
Second language proficiency preferred
