Job Description

TownTasks is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our newest Regional Service Center (RSC) in the Cartersville, GA area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all distribution functions on the 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

Develop and enforce safety programs
Lead start-up meetings and assign work
Oversee distribution, warehousing, and fulfillment operations
Plan activity on the distribution center docks
Manage shift expenses and drive cost reduction
Implement process improvements and enhance standard work
Lead by example with a continuous improvement mindset
Improve Commercial Metrics for on-time delivery
Adapt to change and work in a new building environment
Complete assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

High School diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
2-5 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume Distribution Center
Experience in managing distribution center KPI compliance
Track record of continuous improvement in safety metrics
Demonstrated teamwork and team building skills
Strong communication and computer skills
Experience with WMS and Scanning Systems operations
Experience with WMS implementations a plus
Travel less than 5%
