Job Description

Manage Employee Benefits insurance accounts and services for clients as their primary contact. Educate, advise, and support clients on Compliance topics such as ERISA, COBRA, and Health Care Reform. Coordinate client meetings, manage renewal process, and recommend benefit products.

Responsibilities

Manage a book of business for fully insured and self-insured clients
Act as primary contact between clients and insurance carriers
Educate clients on Compliance topics
Set up new group insurance contracts and manage renewals
Implement and manage recommended programs
Prepare client applications and analyze carrier quotes
Champion client cross-selling initiatives
Conduct on-site meetings to communicate benefit plans
Develop employee communications for renewal changes
Provide resolution support for client issues

Qualifications

2-4 years experience in employee benefits industry or related marketplace
College degree preferred
Life and disability insurance license required
Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office
Strong prioritization and deadline management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
