Job Description

CAMBA is seeking a Recreation Coordinator for Atlantic House Men's Shelter in Brooklyn, NY. The Recreation Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and leading therapeutic/recreational activities for shelter clients.

Responsibilities

Organize and lead therapeutic/recreational activities for clients
Facilitate physical education, arts, music, or drama classes
Plan activities to meet program goals
Create visual displays reflecting cultural themes
Maintain program calendar
Participate in staff meetings

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Licensed Master's degree in Art Therapy preferred
First Aid/CPR certification may be required
Overdose prevention certification may be required
Bilingual preferred
