Job Description

The Preschool Assistant Teacher supports the Lead Teacher and the Associate Teacher in implementing classroom activities for children. Responsibilities include engaging with children, providing a safe environment, and assisting with daily program tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Lead Teacher and the Associate Teacher with the implementation of classroom lesson plans
  • Engaging with children to support development and learning
  • Providing a safe and nurturing environment for children
  • Completing required program documentation in a timely manner
  • Communicating with families through approved channels
  • Remaining compliant with state licensing requirements

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • CDA (Child Development Associate) Accreditation preferred
  • Up to 1 year experience working with children
  • Comfortability with technology
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
