Job Description

Warehouse Workers for Justice (WWJ) is seeking a Communications Coordinator to shape the digital engagement strategy, maintain social media platforms, recruit and sustain members, and support communication needs with media and press.

Responsibilities

Develop strategies for online engagement with warehouse workers
Recruit new WWJ members digitally
Support workplace organizing campaigns through digital efforts
Create graphics for announcements and campaigns
Maintain communication with media and press
Collaborate with organizing and programs team
Attend community events to represent WWJ

Qualifications

2+ years of communications experience
1-2 years of community and/or labor organizing experience
Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
Experience with various social media platforms
Ability to work with a diverse population
Motivated, professional, and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently and on a team
