Job Description

Join Kings Community Action Organization (KCAO) as a Child Development Teacher Assistant and contribute to providing educational experiences and child care services to pre-school age children in Kings County, CA.

Responsibilities

Enforce State of California licensing rules and regulations for child care centers.
Assist in classroom setup and planning according to program curriculum.
Document observations and assessments for individualized child development.
Collaborate with supervisor and management team to meet program goals.
Provide support to families through needs assessments and conferences.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
6 units of course work in Early Childhood Education.
Child Development Assistant Permit within 30 days of hire.
Bi-lingual in English/Spanish preferred.
