Job Description

Join USA Water Ski & Wake Sports as an Organizational Compliance Specialist and help ensure compliance with national governing body standards for towed water sports.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage misconduct complaint reporting and the adjudication process.
Act as a subject matter expert on relevant policies and procedures.
Manage conflict of interest processes in partnership with the Ethics Committee.
Ensure timely resolution of disciplinary cases.
Review, update, and develop policies and procedures.
Support local water ski and wake sports clubs in implementing SafeSport policies.
Interface with other departments to incorporate appropriate policies into training activities.
Increase awareness through online channels and facilitate education on SafeSport.
Lead the administration of disciplinary complaints.
Communicate with leadership and involved parties on case progress.
Conduct data reviews and work closely with Legal Counsel on legal matters.
Manage compliance audits and prepare communications to oversight organizations.
Serve as the primary liaison with relevant organizations in compliance matters.
Monitor SafeSport Training and background checks database.
Bring educational opportunities to USA-WSWS.
Assist in event operations when needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
Compliance experience with USOPC, US Center for SafeSport, USADA preferred.
High level of interpersonal skills and group facilitation experience.
Experience in complex investigations and problem-solving.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and team player.
Passion for child abuse prevention and commitment to organizational values.
