Job Description

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for the successful operation and profitability of the store by training, directing, and monitoring staff.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and service customers per company standards
  • Ensure products are in stock and special orders are handled appropriately
  • Train staff on exemplary customer service
  • Manage sales, product mix, and in-stock conditions
  • Assist in hiring, training, and managing store personnel
  • Ensure safety guidelines are followed at all times

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1-2 years management experience in grocery or retail
  • Able to manage changing priorities
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
