Job Description

Brand new role due to company growth! The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for all tasks related to the warehouse, inventory, yard, and office. This position is based at our warehouse in Columbus Ohio and is for someone with 1-3 years of experience working in a warehouse.

Responsibilities

Load and unload materials and supplies from trucks
Assist in staging materials (kitting) for projects as requested
Perform equipment maintenance checks
Ability to operate a forklift
Assists in maintaining vehicle maintenance records
Manages and executes ongoing cost-saving and efficiency initiatives
Keeps management apprised of any delays, discrepancies, unsafe working conditions, vehicle or stockroom irregularities or maintenance issues
Maintains a clean, organized, and safe stockroom and yard
Executes various warehouse transactions electronically
Tracks and cycle counts to ensure that stock levels are accurate

Qualifications

3+ years' experience in performing material handling activities within a warehouse desired
Ability to operate a forklift
Dependable, self-starter with an excellent work ethic
Excellent communication skills
Computer proficiency
Valid driver's license
Associates degree preferred, High School Diploma required
