Job Description

DSG is seeking an HVAC Counter Sales Associate in our Saginaw, MI location. As a Counter Sales Associate, you will assist customers at the City Desk with order placement and fulfillment, as well as assisting in all aspects of warehouse duties as needed.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary facilitator for customer orders made at the City Desk
Assist customers with product inquiries
Write orders accurately and in a timely manner
Generate customer quotations and follow up as necessary
Provide trouble-shooting and technical support
Collaborate with sales team members to resolve customer service issues
Restock the counter area according to product brand and location
Monitor product inventory and maintain clean display area
Identify and encourage sale of additional products
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Product and technical knowledge acquired through college, technical school, or field experience in HVAC
Excellent relationship building skills
Outstanding interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Active listening skills to determine customer needs
Problem solving, project management, and analytical skills
Proficiency with computers, experience in ERP systems preferred
Effective planning, prioritizing, and organizing abilities
