Job Description

The Director of Safety & Risk Management will provide strategic leadership & operational oversight for all safety, risk management, security, & loss prevention programs.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, & oversee risk management strategies that align with the organization's mission, regulatory requirements, & operational needs.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, & federal safety regulations.
Identify, assess, & mitigate workplace hazards to prevent injuries.
Oversee incident reports, conduct root cause analysis, & implement corrective actions.
Lead safety training & awareness programs for employees.
Develop policies to prevent asset loss, fraud, & conduct investigations into incidents.
Administer Workers' Compensation program & monitor claims.
Collaborate with departments to align safety efforts with business operations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in safety, risk management, or compliance.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations & compliance requirements.
Experience in safety audits, investigations, & corrective actions.
Professional certification preferred.
