Job Description

The Agency Medical Officer (AMO) is responsible for providing employee occupational health services in accordance with VA policies. The position involves collaborating with midlevel providers, responding to health hazards, and implementing Whole Health programs for employees.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with midlevel providers
Respond to potential health hazards
Implement Whole Health programs
Perform administrative duties including electronic patient records
Conduct health promotion evaluations and screenings
Complete medical reports for OWCP cases

Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine degree
Current license to practice medicine
Residency training in an accredited program
Proficiency in spoken and written English
