Job Description

Join our team as a Warehouse Specialist & Ship Support Driver to play a crucial role in supporting naval operations by managing warehouse activities and safely transporting materials to and from ships.

Responsibilities

Verify materials against receiving documents and report discrepancies
Route materials to storage locations
Store materials according to storage methods
Conduct inventory checks and rearrange materials
Prepare materials for shipment or delivery
Operate vehicles to transport materials between warehouse and naval ship
Maintain accurate records and participate in inventory audits
Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate safety equipment
Coordinate with project managers and ship personnel

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Ability to pass background check for shipyard access
Proficiency in inventory management systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs regularly
Forklift certification a plus
