Job Description

The Shipping Lead will report to the Shipping Supervisor, assist in all aspects of shipping and warehouse management, and act as a backup in the supervisor's absence. This is an on-site opportunity at our Fall River Facility.

Responsibilities

Execute all aspects of the order pick and ship process for freight and small parcel shipping as assigned
Efficiently pick customer orders per pick list
Wrap pallets for shipping and load trucks
Operate reach truck, forklift, and pallet jack
Utilize handheld scanners for all transactions
Act as a department backup in the absence of the Shipping Supervisor
Maintain excellent personal safety and help promote a safe working environment
Collaborate to maintain a clean working environment
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High School diploma (or equivalent)
3-5 years of shipping experience, both domestic and international
3-5 years experience operating a reach truck
Ability to perform math functions associated with the job
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Prolonged periods of standing and walking
