Job Description

Global Industrial is seeking an Industrial Engineer to lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives within our distribution center network. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Lean principles and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with functional leaders to assess current processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop tools and solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of standardized procedures.
  • Provide support for Warehouse Management System suite.
  • Conduct and evaluate time studies to validate engineered standards.
  • Lead activities related to Labor Management Systems.
  • Design layouts for processes, equipment, and workspace.
  • Support budget analysis and input.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in warehousing and distribution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and tools.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant software.
  • Ability to travel 25-40% of the time.
